![]() I've never really been satisfied with SiriusXM in any car due to the obvious compression artifacts. Much better than the same phone and player app over Bluetooth. The USB to Android Auto sounds quite good. But music files are listened to at around 40 and get painful by 50 so there is plenty of volume to work with. It is still a bit lower in level than the radio so be careful when you switch back. I use Poweramp as a player and put a smile on the EQ and control the master gain. I don't know why automakers still can't be bothered to put a 10 band EQ in the stock system since front end and sources are all digital (and probably the amps) these days. This car has surprisingly good audio with some aggressive eq and if fed with a good source of full wave files. Used to make trips to spend time in high end salons listening to $50,000 2 channel systems. 5 to choose from, modify my dacs with the newest convertor chips running direct out to the amp with matched gain requiring no analog gain or buffered volume control, build my own interconnects and foil/ air speaker wires, collect and test with audiophile recordings. I have to disagree that the stock audio system in my 2017 Bolt LT is "horrible", or any other such descriptors.
